ASPARAGUS

Packed with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, asparagus has been used as a medicinal vegetable for 2,500 years. Asparagus is loaded with vitamins and minerals, and it’s a great source of prebiotics in which feeds and nourishes the good bacteria that exist naturally in your gut. (While probiotics are bacteria, prebiotics are indigestible fibers that feeds the probiotic bacteria)

Instructions

Heat coconut oil or unpasteurised organic butter on medium heat before adding in asparagus. Add in squeezed lemon or lime, freshly pressed garlic, salt, pepper, herbs, paprika powder- anything you like! Fry evenly on both sides until golden. Serve.
