Roasted Chickpeas

Crispy, spicy, healthy and delicious. Try roasted chickpeas as a snack or as topping over salads and soups! Feel free to experiment with different flavor combination. 

Ingredients

2 boxes of cooked chickpeas 

1 tablespoon olive or avocado oil 

Pinch of cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

1/2 tablespoon himalayan salt 

1 tablespoon ground cumin 

1 tablespoon paprika powder

Instructions

1. Rinse chickpeas and let the water drain properly.

2. Toss the chickpeas in a bowl, add the oil and spices and mix until everything is coated. Taste and add more seasoning if necessary.

3. Spread chickpeas on prepared baking sheet evenly so they aren’t touching.

4. Roast for 30-45 minutes or until crispy and golden brown at 225 C, giving the pan a shake every 10-12 minutes to make sure the chickpeas don't stick and become golden brown on all sides.

5. Let cool.
